After Breaking the Silence
깨어난 침묵
  • 한국 환경영화의 흐름
Synopsis A group of workers stare right into the camera as they relate their innermost thoughts they’ve kept inside. On April 26th, 2014, workers at a Korean rice wine factory demanding the company to guarantee their three rights to work, and better working conditions for food safety enter a strike. But pressure from the company owners has the major press ignore their fight. The workers continuously shout their stories only to be stifled by the law, capital, people’s indifference and their family turning their backs on them.
