Synopsis Abita is an animated short film about Fukushima children who can’t play outside because of the radioactivity. The nature can't be decontaminated. The children in Fukushima have to be inside and cannot enjoy the freedom in the beautiful nature. This is about their dreams and realities.

HARA Shoko was born in Okayama, Japan and moved to Germany in 1998. Paul BRENNER was born in Tübingen, Germany. They both studied Media Design at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative University (Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg) in Ravensburg of Southern Germany. Abita is their first film and was made for their Bachelor of Arts-film in 2012.
